Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 12 October 2026
Last Updated: 12 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to HarDil Services (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, https://hardilservices.com/, and the cleaning services we provide.

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our website and services.

2. Our Services

HarDil Services provides cleaning and related services, which may include:

  • Residential cleaning
  • Commercial cleaning
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Window cleaning
  • Pressure cleaning
  • Vacate and end-of-lease cleaning
  • Other cleaning services listed on our website

The availability, scope, and conditions of each service may vary depending on the property, location, service requirements, and agreed booking arrangements.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote provided by us will be based on the information available at the time, including the type of service, property size, condition, location, and requested work.

  • Quotes may be subject to inspection or confirmation of the service requirements.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when requesting a quote.
  • Additional charges may apply if the actual work required differs materially from the information originally provided.
  • Any additional work or price variation will be communicated to you for approval before proceeding, where reasonably practicable and as required by law.
  • Prices, promotions, and service offerings may change over time. Changes will not retrospectively alter an accepted quote unless otherwise agreed or legally permitted.

A quote does not constitute a confirmed booking unless we have accepted the booking and communicated the relevant arrangements to you.

4. Bookings and Appointments

Bookings may be requested through our website, by phone, by email, or through other communication channels we make available.

A booking is confirmed only when we communicate our acceptance and confirm the relevant service arrangements.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact details and the correct service address.
  • Ensure the property is accessible at the agreed time.
  • Inform us in advance of any special requirements or access restrictions.
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your booking.

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive at the agreed time. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, operational issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate significant delays where reasonably practicable.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To help us provide our services safely and effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
  • Ensure water, electricity, and other agreed facilities are available where required.
  • Secure valuables, cash, jewellery, confidential documents, and fragile personal belongings before cleaning begins.
  • Inform us of relevant hazards, delicate surfaces, pre-existing damage, or special cleaning requirements.
  • Keep children, pets, and other occupants away from hazardous cleaning equipment or areas while work is being performed.
  • Ensure that the requested work can be carried out safely.

We may postpone, modify, or decline work if access is unavailable or conditions present an unreasonable safety risk.

6. Payments and Invoicing

Payment is strictly due within 14 days from the invoice date unless prior
arrangements are made in writing. Invoices overdue by more than 14 days
may incur a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Continued
non-payment may result in service suspension and debt recovery action.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as early as possible.

Any applicable cancellation notice period, deposit arrangements, or cancellation fees will be communicated at the time of booking or in the applicable service agreement.

We may need to reschedule or cancel a booking because of staff availability, equipment issues, unsafe conditions, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange an alternative appointment or other appropriate resolution.

Nothing in this section excludes any cancellation, refund, or other rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

8. Service Quality and Customer Complaints

We aim to provide cleaning services with reasonable care and skill.

If you believe a service has not been completed as agreed, please contact us promptly and describe the issue, including the service date and relevant details.

Where appropriate, we may review the complaint, request supporting information, inspect the affected area, or arrange a reasonable remedy.

Any inspection or re-cleaning arrangement will depend on the circumstances and applicable law. This section does not limit any non-excludable rights or remedies available to you.

9. Property Damage and Liability

Please inform us as soon as reasonably possible if you believe our work has caused damage to your property.

We will review reported incidents fairly and may request photographs, receipts, or other relevant information to assess the matter.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Where legally permitted, liability for other losses will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances, the agreed service terms, and applicable law.

10. Limitations of Cleaning Results

Cleaning results may vary depending on the age, condition, material, previous maintenance, and existing damage of the surfaces or items being cleaned.

We cannot guarantee the complete removal of every stain, odour, mark, or deposit, particularly where it is permanent, deeply embedded, or caused by deterioration or previous damage.

We will exercise reasonable care and skill and inform you where a requested treatment may be unsuitable or may carry a risk of damage.

11. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to HarDil Services unless otherwise stated.

14. Events Beyond Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures to perform obligations to the extent caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, emergencies, transport disruptions, or government restrictions.

Where such circumstances affect a booking, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you and agree on an appropriate alternative arrangement.

This clause does not remove any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations, website, or legal obligations.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply from the date stated in the revised terms, subject to applicable law. Any separately agreed service contract will continue to govern where its terms take precedence.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Australia and, where relevant, the state or territory in which the services are provided.

Any dispute will be handled by the courts or other dispute-resolution bodies with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

17. Contact Us
